2012 Marks VW's most complete model line

The Passat, right-sized and right-priced for the American market, will be offering its class-leading rear-legroom and phenomenal price. The new, more muscular, sportier Beetle will be offered initially with its hardy 2.5L and 2.0L TSI engines. Next, the GLI will complete the Jetta range with a sport-tuned engine and a loads of interior enhancements. The 2012 Tiguan gets freshened inside and out, receives a new sport suspension on some trim levels and improved gas economy all-around. The 2012 Eos gets some new styling and a standard DSG dual-clutch trannie. Last, and perhaps most exciting, Volkswagen introduces its most powerful Golf yet - the bold Golf R.

In total, 8 of the 11 available Volkswagens will be new or refreshed for 2012, making it the most exciting, and thorough, year for VW in North America.
