2012 VW Beetle prices released

The third generation of the classic people's car is an automotive icon reinvented, delivering all the character and aesthetics of the Beetle's heritage into a new era. The traditional spirit of yesterday's model is captured in this new re-imagining, and complimented thoroughly by all the modern technologies and efficiencies of today.

The base model offers a 170HP in-line five-cylinder engine that improves the mileage over 10% of previous models. EPA estimates are at 22 MPG City / 31 MPG Highway. The 2.5L variant boasts additional performance, a split folding rear seat, aux-in for portable audio players, customizable 17-inch wheels, an 8-speaker sound system and much, much more.

Longer, lower and wider than the previous Beetles, the new and third generation is the best -looking Beetle yet, and should delight both old and new fans of this iconic vehicle.
