Passat earns IIHS Top Safety Pick

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has awarded the 2012 Volkswagen Passat with its Top Safety Pick award. In order to be awarded this important recognition, the Passat had to prove it was at the top of its class for front, side and rear crash testing. Also, any vehicle hoping to earn the top recognition is required to have Electronic Stability Control (ESC).

Top Ratings from Strategic Value Index

VW announced recently that two of its vehicles have received top ratings from buyers in Strategic Vision's Total Value Index. The Strategic Vision Total Value Index was calculated from 68,088 buyers who purchased models during September 2010 to June 2011.
